First-generation Bolec was created in Rouyn-Noranda in 1972. The residential and commercial construction business is still the largest real estate management firm in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

In 2000, Mr. Pierre Rouleau continues the family tradition and, as the second-generation of general contractors, launches Bolec & Fils in the Outaouais. Serving Greater Gatineau, Ottawa and Buckingham for the past 11 years, Bolec & Fils has realized more than 1,500 residential and industrial renovations.

Mr. Rouleau is always looking out for better ways to meet his customers’ needs. In that spirit, he has partnered with Mrs. Isabelle Monpetit, a talented and dynamic interior and kitchen designer, in January 2011, to offer custom design to Bolec’s clients. If you want to enhance your property by updating the kitchen, finishing the basement or having any renovation or expansion project materialize, Bolec’s interior-design team members will provide their expert skills and personalized advice in design, layout, choice of materials and storage spaces, budget planning, etc.

Bolec holds a residential and commercial general contractor licence from Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ). The business is a member of Association provinciale des constructeurs d’habitations du Québec (APCHQ). Moreover, Bolec is an APCHQ certified Réno-Maître, which gives them the right to provide access for their customers to the association’s custom financing program Réno-Prêt.

Bolec also provides a growing range of top – and often exclusive – specialty quality products.
